Real World Studios is set in the Wiltshire countryside, a couple of hours’ drive from London, half an hour less by train. It is an area steeped in history, close to the World Heritage Site, the city of Bath. Mysterious prehistoric sites are everywhere - standing stones, burial mounds, earthworks. There are temples to Mithras, Saxon and Norman churches, great cathedrals and, only half an hour away, Glastonbury, Stonehenge and King Alfred’s ancient stronghold, Athelney. Crop circles and UFO sightings, ley lines and hauntings make this one of the most unusual places in Britain. And in the centre of it all is Real World Studios - a technical marvel, a creative retreat.
